Congratulations to Carl Paulhus and Randy Luzny from Moose Jaw who competed at the Special Olympic National Championships in London, Ontario on July 17th. Carl competed in the 90kg weight class, finishing second, with a squat of 137.5kg, bench press of 85kg, and deadlift of 155kg. Randy competed in the 60kg weight class, finishing second, with a squat of 82.5kg, bench press of 72.5kg, and deadlift of 115kg. Although the contest was not sanctioned by the Canadian Powerlifting Union, both Randy and Carl have competed in SPA sanctioned events, and we are very proud of all of their hard work preparing for this contest!
