The SPA is excited to announce that we are one of the first provinces (to my knowledge) to be able to hire someone to work solely for the powerlifting provincial governing body on a full time basis. Rhaea Fowler has been hired as a summer employee on a Service Canada grant. This position is for the advancement and promotion of the sport of powerlifting in Saskatchewan, and is an exciting step towards bigger and better things in the province. I want to thank the hiring committee for their work (I was not involved in the hiring in case anyone out there wants to make any acqusations) and I want to congratulate Rhaea on being hired on as the Program Co-ordinator for the Saskatchewan Powerlifting Association for the duration of the summer.
